Response is in steps indicating number of controls where A=2 controls and K=1 control
	1st step – 0-2 controls
Rebid of next higher suit asks for clarification
			1st step – 0 controls
			2nd step – 1 control
			3rd step – 2 controls
	2nd step – 3 controls

	…
There are 12 controls total
Voids and singletons ignored

Opener rebids as RKC1430 responder if 13-15 HCP

Practice

1C open

After trump suit established
Either RKC1430 or Beta Ask by opening bidder (strong hand)

2C open

4D is beta ask
4NT is RKC1430

2D open

4D is beta ask
4NT is RKC1430
Since often suit is not established, beta ask is preferred

1NT open

4C is beta ask
4NT is quantitative ask
5NT is grand slam try

Advice

System is aggressive, you don’t need to be.
Against reasonably competent opponents you can’t muscle a contract for which you don’t have the cards.
The strength of this system is its increased accuracy/precision coupled with aggressiveness.
Bid early, tell partner what is going on.
Just because opponents outbid you doesn’t mean they will make their contract.
Don’t sacrifice on part scores, especially when vulnerable.
Opponents don’t have precision, don’t know when to stop, and consequently often overbid.
You can apply the Winning Trick Evaluation Method to opponents bidding
Only double for penalty when you think they will go down 2+ tricks
Bid the system!
